Description
The 50th issue of Posterzine® marks a wonderful milestone for us. What once started as a supplement to our Print Isn't Dead magazine, it's immediate success meant that Posterzine has become a thing of its own and has featured some of leading visual artists across the globe. For this EPIC issue, we feature OBEY GIANT's creative design studio Studio Number One owned by contemporary street artist, graphic designer, activist and illustrator Shepard Fairey. Read a VERY exclusive interview with Shepard Fairey who is also celebrating his 30-year career milestone, reflecting on what he thinks is still important in the graphic design industry, talking about his creative roles in his business and reflecting on his successful career as a creative. "Creating something that literally changes the cityscape is the ultimate expression of one of my driving impulses" — Shepard Fairey. We're hugely thankful for our supporters Pressison, G.F Smith & MOO who have helped us continue to create affordable pieces of art for the masses and we can't wait to see what the next issues bring! This very special edition is printed with 5 Pantone spot colours including two metallics printed on G.F Smith Gmund Bauhaus. Learn more about the creative process of OBEY GIANT and Studio Number One with an exclusive interview with founder Shepard Fairey, who reflects on his 30-year career milestone in the graphic design industry and the importance of creating impactful art that changes the cityscape.
